Text Messaging Terms and Conditions

The program
Acora Asset Management LLC (“Acora Asset Management”, “we”, “us”) sends text messages to rental applicants, residents, property owners, vendors and people who inquire about our properties, and who have agreed to receive them. Messages come from our staff and our property-management systems and are about:
- responding to your inquiries
- leasing communications
- rental application updates
- maintenance coordination
- account and payment communications
- lease renewal communications
- property notices
- other matters related to your tenancy or the services you requested
How you opt in
You opt in to text messages from Acora Asset Management by checking the text-message box on the contact form on our website at acoraam.com/contact-us and submitting the form with your mobile number. The box is unchecked until you check it, and you can send us the form without checking it. Giving us a telephone number so that we can call you does not by itself opt you in to text messages. Consent to receive calls or text messages is not a condition of renting a property or of purchasing any goods or services.
Frequency and cost
Message frequency varies. How many messages you receive depends on your application, tenancy or request. Message and data rates may apply. Acora Asset Management does not charge for text messages; your mobile carrier’s rates apply.
Opting out and getting help
Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will receive one message confirming that you have been opted out, and no further text messages after that. You can opt in again at any time by replying START or by contacting us.

Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on your mobile carrier and your device.
Your number
Tell us if you change or give up the mobile number you gave us, so that messages meant for you do not go to someone else.
Phone calls
We may also call you at the number you gave us for the same purposes. You can ask us to stop non-essential calls at any time by telling us on a call, by email or by phone.
Privacy
How we collect, use and protect your number and your consent is described in our Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States.
